did not work for my HP laptop as described
Was not compatible with my HP laptop as described. Took it into Best Buy and the store tested it and said it did not give enough power for my laptop, as it was advertised to do. Ended up spending a lot more money at Best Buy to purchase an AC Adapter/power cord that would function problem free.


Good Value
These were so inexpensive I bought three. Including the original, now I have one in every room in the house where I normally use my laptop.

There's one con: The section of cord that goes from the "brick" to the laptop is only 44" long, which is about two feet shorter than on the original. This is inconvenient in some usages. For example, the brick doesn't reach the floor when my laptop is on my kitchen table with the cord routed around the back, so I have to leave the brick on the table cluttering up my workspace (or let it hang down, putting strain on the jack). Plus of course the decrease in total length of the cord means you can't sit quite as far from an outlet as with the original. Overall there are so many places where the missing two feet is not needed anyway that it's still a good value.



Works fine...
The cord is about a foot shorter than expected, but that has little affect on the product's usability. Good buy for the price.


Not Pleased
I purchased the power cord in January 2010. The power cord worked for 3 1/2 weeks and stopped working.

This product worked well for about a month. It no longer works. How do I go about getting another one?
